Kendra Emmett-Goldwaser holds the Master of Letters Degree in Renaissance Literature from Mary Baldwin College’s Shakespeare and Performance graduate program in Staunton, Virginia. She is currently an understudy and costume coordinator for the American Shakespeare Center Touring Troupe.
She was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theatre Performance, Theatre Management, and Technical Theatre in 2013 from Indian Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.
During the first year of her graduate studies in 2013 and 2014, Kendra worked as House Manager and Box Office Staff for the American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, and served as a teaching assistant for Mary Baldwin’s undergraduate spring Acting II class. Kendra submitted a paper and presented in a colloquium at the Seventh Annual Blackfriars Conference in October 2013 at the American Shakespeare Center. During her undergraduate career, Kendra held the position of Publicity Coordinator for the Indiana Wesleyan University Theatre Guild from 2010 to 2013. Kendra served as Production Assistant for the American Shakespeare Center’s summer and fall 2012 production of The Two Gentleman of Verona. She also served as a Marketing Intern for the American Shakespeare Center during the summer of 2012. In May 2012, Kendra was invited to participate in a film acting workshop with Dan Butler and Richard Waterhouse at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Kendra’s acting credits include Nell Gwynn and Maria in Mary Baldwin College’s Shakespeare and Performance production of OR, as well as Rachel in My Name is Rachel Corrie, Beartrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Hattie in The Women of Lockerbie, Jo (understudy) in Little Women, and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet in the productions at Indiana Wesleyan University.
